It's a Small world After All

I can not believe that I have been gone from Dodge City for almost twenty years and still continue to benefit from my Dodge City roots. My career path is too long to go into detail, but with every venture that I get involved with, there is always some Dodge City tie that helps me succeed along the way. And currently, my new career endeavor is no exception.

I recently left the Lawrence/Kansas City area to pursue a career in the Biofuels world, which has proven to once again have Dodge City connections. I joined a firm, BBI International that is now responsible for the project development of ethanol plants in Dodge, Garden, and Liberal. When I think back on all the teachers and mentors in Dodge City that helped with my early and ongoing development there are too many to mention, but one is standing out from the crowd due to my current experiences. Pat George, state representative and mentor to many, has come back into my life due to his leadership abilities in Topeka for the renewable and sustainable energy sectors. I can see that he still is the leader I remember from so long ago. Not only is Pat helping Western Kansas, the State of Kansas, and the Global Earth, but he is still there for me just like time had not passed. Thanks Pat and Dodge City for making me look good and for helping to secure a sustainable future for us all!!!
