November 21, 2006 - AT&T Kansas today donated 72 calling cards to the Kansas National Guard, 161st Field Artillery Battalion. AT&T has worked with Dodge City Church of the Nazarene and Rep. Pat George to support local National Guard units in their current critical missions overseas.

"Our U.S. military service men and women are under incredible stress in today's international climate," said Darin Miller, External Affairs director for AT&T Kansas. "We want to make sure our troops can stay in touch with their loved ones at home."

"I am very grateful to have worked with the DC Nazarene Church and Darin Miller with AT&T in acquiring these phone cards for our brave service men and women deployed in Iraq," said State Representative Pat George, Dodge City. “These phone cards will allow them to spend some time, via telephone, with their families during the Christmas season.”

"The opportunity for our hard working U.S. Soilders to call home with these AT&T calling cards and be able to visit with family and friends is especially important," said State Representative Melvin Neufeld, Ingalls.

AT&T has provided worldwide support to American troops overseas through the distribution of calling cards and the donations of video conference facilities as partner with the Freedom Calls Foundation.
